-250 Days until Fourth of July (July 4th) Volunteers Volunteers Needed! July 1st to July 5th, 2009 The Franklin 4th of July Coalition needs your help. We have several volunteer opportunities over the course of the festivities. All volunteers will receive a 4th of July T-shirt and will receive community service hours. Below you will find a list of jobs available. If you would like to volunteer, click here to download the application form. Children's Character Actors: Various storybook and movie characters will visit Franklin during the celebration. Ground Maintenance: with all the traffic on the common throughout the day, the ground tends to get messy. We need volunteers to walk throughout the common, picking up trash and occasionally empting a trash can. We know it is a dirty job but some one has to do it! We are hoping to have two volunteers per a 2 hour shift. More Opportunities will be posted soon. Volunteers greatly contribute to the success of our Celebration!
